Last night we were kindly invited to photograph Wasing Park & Galloping gourmet's tasting evening. Over 40 couples were invited to come and sample some of the tasty meal options and wonderful wines galloping gourmet have on offer for the bride & grooms forthcoming weddings at Wasing Park.
Guests were invited from 7pm to the newly refurbished Garden room at Wasing Park for a drinks reception and of course to sample the wide variety of canapés on offer! Guests were also shown cheese stacks 'The next big thing!'
As guests made their way over to the Castle Barn they jumped into our very own taxi photo booth and were presented with an instant print!
A choice of starters, mains, palette cleansers and desserts were then served whilst guests enjoyed their goody bags provided by Cherubs and the mini magazine showcasing some real-life weddings at Wasing Park that we produced for each couple to take away.
The atmosphere was lovely with guests able to chat to recommended suppliers and discuss their wine choices with Galloping gourmets wine specialists along with chatting to other couples about their big day!

Sunday 4th March was one of Wasing Park's big open days with suppliers and services helping bride and grooms organise/plan their perfect day. Gemma & Dean made the most of the cold weather at the beautiful Wasing Park in Berkshire... with reindeers, holly, and candles! Gemma & her bridesmaids made the most of the bridal suite at Wasing complete with the notoriously monster sized bed (easily enough room for 8!). Hair was styled by Kate from Occasion Hair by Kate
Dean & boys enjoyed some champagne at the bothy for the ultimate experience, bride and groom can get ready at Wasing Park at the same time but in completely different areas of the estate.
The slightly confused seasons created some stunning pre-bloom trees and lovely soft light. With guests having enjoyed their sumptuous 3 course meal, the cake was cut in the garden room. Whilst guests got carried away with the party! Dean and the boys used this as an opportunity to light up some cigars and have the ultimate lads 'chillout time'!
Natalie & Matt fell in love with Wasing park and chose the 'on site' church for their ceremony. The couple went for a neutral colour scheme with touches of red, used in the ribbon around the Bride's bouquet with subtle touches throughout the day.
Natalie looked stunning in her Angela Stone gown and Matt didn't look too bad either in his bespoke Marc Wallace suit. Natalie choose five friends as bridesmaids 3 of which were pregnant on the day! Bridesmaids wore full length pewter dresses and all carried a slightly different ivory bouquet.
After the ceremony the guests took a delightful stroll through the gorgeous grounds at Wasing park estate to make their way to the Garden Room where their drinks reception was held. Guests were entertained by a live musician and giant garden games whilst canapes were served.
The day focused on fun and Natalie & Matt even chose a tower of shots rather than the traditional wedding cake! Just when you guests thought they couldn't eat any more they were treated to an amazing hog roast outside on the terrace! (trust us it really is amazing - we have even sampled it ourselves!)
Vikie & Leon's wedding was organised in just 3 and a half weeks with every detail perfect you just wouldn't know! The couple exchanged their personalised vows in a beautiful outside ceremony at Wasing Park, Berkshire. They couldn't have asked for better weather as the sun shone down on close family and friends there wasn't a dry eye in the beautiful ceremony. Flowers and decorations were provided by Ashley Blooms and Vikie's hair and makeup by Charlotte Elizabeth.
With the forecast set to be a scorcher, Sarah & Rik were going to be in for a really special day at Wasing Park... a venue enhanced yet further by a nice splash of the sunny stuff!
Sarah took full advantage of the amazing honeymoon suite at Wasing and had her bridal prep there... meanwhile a rather cool and collected Rik was to be found with his boys checking out the beautiful work by Cherubs Floral Design in the Castle Barn.
The ceremony barn at Wasing was decorated from head to toe by Cherubs and looked fabulous, the ceremony was then followed by a blessing at the Parish Church.
Crystal & Toby went for a cute pink vintage theme from suits to straws! Bridal shoes were by Kurt Gieger and were pretty damn fantastic! The Bothy at Wasing Park was host to the girl's initial preparations then moving up to the bridal suite for final tweaks.
The couple used the on site parish church for their ceremony, the bridal party then walked across to the ceremony room for cupcakes, canapes and champagne. Floral arrangements and decorations were designed by brilliant Marc & James from Cherubs floral design.
After the wedding breakfast guests moved from the castle barn back to the ceremony room for tea & coffee out of vintage crockery supplied again by Cherubs, whilst the barn was turned around for the evening party.
When it comes to dresses this has to be one of the most 'wow' dresses we have seen!
Lucy looked stunning in her beautiful ritva westenius dress, she completed her look with make up by Charlotte Elizabeth and gorgeous Jewell's by Jenny packham. Floral arrangements were provided by the amazing Cherubs
Lucy and Martins day was filled with fun and laughter and their lovely children were bridesmaids and best man with Lucy's son giving her away. The venue was changed around for the evening party, with floor cushions, bar tables, popcorn and sweets, again provided by Cherubs,
Our very own taxi photobooth was also booked, the snapacab parked up just by the entrance so guests could enjoy generally making a fool of themselves whilst being captured on film!
As part of booking a fantastic venue such as Wasing Park for your wedding is the opportunity to be invited to one of their stunning tasting evenings, a great chance to speak with other brides, services and the helpful staff at Wasing itself. The Castle Barn was was kindly decorated by Marc and James from Cherubs floral design who created a beautiful range of displays and flowers. While guests were enjoying their food & wine guests were entertained with a range of music from melisma.

Wasing Park is a stunning venue all year round but it is taken to a whole new level when Spring arrives covering every tree in gorgeous blossom. Louise and Richard had their wedding ceremony in the beautiful 15th Century church located within Wasing's grounds. Guests were treated to drinks all afternoon with an authentic Caribbean band providing music.
The theme continued into the wedding breakfast with island names as table centres with shells & beach items to decorate. Flowers were provided by the extremely talented team at Cherubs floral design.
The stunning vintage Jaguars were provided by Henley Classic car hire with 2 MKII jaguars in showroom condition.
