Last night we were kindly invited to photograph Wasing Park & Galloping gourmet's tasting evening. Over 40 couples were invited to come and sample some of the tasty meal options and wonderful wines galloping gourmet have on offer for the bride & grooms forthcoming weddings at Wasing Park.
Guests were invited from 7pm to the newly refurbished Garden room at Wasing Park for a drinks reception and of course to sample the wide variety of canapés on offer! Guests were also shown cheese stacks 'The next big thing!'
As guests made their way over to the Castle Barn they jumped into our very own taxi photo booth and were presented with an instant print!
A choice of starters, mains, palette cleansers and desserts were then served whilst guests enjoyed their goody bags provided by Cherubs and the mini magazine showcasing some real-life weddings at Wasing Park that we produced for each couple to take away.
The atmosphere was lovely with guests able to chat to recommended suppliers and discuss their wine choices with Galloping gourmets wine specialists along with chatting to other couples about their big day!
Thank you to everyone involved we had a great night!
It is not usual when you ask a bride & groom how they are planning to make their first journey together as a married couple to the reception and get the response "on a train"! Adam & Kate were insistent it's how they wanted to do it!
Kate got ready at the family home then on to The Salvation Army church in Lower Earley. After the ceremony the bridal party made their way to Earley train station to catch the bridal train, at this point the heavens really opened!
Kate & Adam decided on contrasting Converse shoes for practical footwear (a good idea!). A car met the wedding party at Maidenhead station to begin the reception at Taplow house hotel, luckily the rain passed and guests could enjoy some wonderful sunshine!
Carolyne started her day at home with hair & makeup... this is made easier with the help of some champagne! Scott and the boys were ready and waiting at the church with just enough time to get some pictures crossing the zebra crossing.
After the beautiful ceremony the celebrations continues at Foxhills in Ottershaw, Surrey. The weather allowed guests to enjoy some live music and drinks on the lawn. Scott & Carolyne made the most of the venue with photographs taken both inside and out.
WOW! What a day....... Local business woman Teula and Helicopter pilot Jonnie were married in the stunning Dorchester Abbey in Teulas home town.
Teula's stunning dress had an amazing purple lining throughout adding a subtle splash of colour. The bridesmaid gowns were handmade by Teula's mum and carried on the soft lilac and purple theme.
After the emotional ceremony, drinks were provided for guests outside the Abbey while the bride and groom along with close family were photographed.
On the way back to the family home where the reception was being held, Teula and Jonnie stopped at some local picturesque beauty spots for some arty couple shots.
Guests were treated to canapés and champagne along with live music and magician before 'The Structure' (As it became affectionately known) was revealed. 'The Structure' was the brain child of Teula and her brother Henry, it really was amazing, a scaffold building from the outside and beautiful room on the inside, where the evening reception was held
More surprises were to come later in the evening when an amazing acrobatic show was put on for friends and family. Guests partied the night away to music and we mustn't forget our very photo booth snapacab that kept guests entertained all through the evening.
De vere venues were offering golfers the amazing oportunity to play alongside Freddie Flintoff at the fantastic Wokefield Park. All golfers were treated to a signed group photo, amazing food and drink, car displays by HR Owen with decorations by Cherubs Floral designs.
Freddie Flintoff kicked the day off with a word to the golfers and a great day was had by all!
One of the best sunsets of the year so far! - and what a way to appreciate it, at the very top of London's 'Gherkin'
Julia got ready at Threadneedles hotel in the heart of the city, with fantastic rooms and interior design. Julia chose a stunning gold dress that ensured a really alternative look". A short walk or even shorter taxi ride to 30st Mary Axe (The Gherkin) set the destination for Julia & Neil's ceremony and reception.
The couple were blessed with beautiful weather to enjoy the views over London. Drinks and canapes were served on the top floor with live jazz played by 'full fat music'
After the civil ceremony and free flowing drinks guests were invited to take their seats for the wedding breakfast... the London themed day continued with london underground inspired decorations.

The bridesmaids were dressed in mink and the ushers in Grey River Island suits. Dont foget to check out Lindsey's beautiful vintage ring.
Gemma & Dean made the most of the cold weather at the beautiful Wasing Park in Berkshire... with reindeers, holly, and candles! Gemma & her bridesmaids made the most of the bridal suite at Wasing complete with the notoriously monster sized bed (easily enough room for 8!). Hair was styled by Kate from Occasion Hair by Kate
Dean & boys enjoyed some champagne at the bothy for the ultimate experience, bride and groom can get ready at Wasing Park at the same time but in completely different areas of the estate.
The slightly confused seasons created some stunning pre-bloom trees and lovely soft light. With guests having enjoyed their sumptuous 3 course meal, the cake was cut in the garden room. Whilst guests got carried away with the party! Dean and the boys used this as an opportunity to light up some cigars and have the ultimate lads 'chillout time'!
The annual SWPP conference and 20"x16" print competition was held in Hammersmith throughout January with the industry's elite all on show. Jamie entered the below images and all were finalists in their categories with the wedding image winning the wedding contemporary category.
